Bachelorette or bachelor party in Cancun: the party at the villa, the reset the morning after.

Zip and Paint, our paint and sip, with a glass at sunset. The next morning, the full ice bath experience: yoga, breathwork, ice and static dance. And if the wedding is close, a Mayan cleansing to walk in light. We bring all of it to the house you rented, in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos or Tulum.

The plan: you have the villa. What's missing is the story you'll tell afterwards

You've booked the house and gathered the group. The easy thing is to fill the weekend with the usual: a boat, a club, a line to get in somewhere. What gets told afterwards is something else: the afternoon the whole group paints the same sea with a glass in hand, and the morning they get into the ice and come out laughing.

We bring it to your villa, ready: Zip and Paint at sunset, the full ice bath experience the next morning and, if the wedding is close, a Mayan cleansing to close. Book them separately or together. We arrive with everything, set up, run the session and leave without a trace.

It's what we've been doing for over four years in hotels like Royalton CHIC, Excellence and Palladium. The difference is that the venue is your house and the group is your friends.

Zip and Paint: the afternoon that ends as a party

Canvas, easel and a glass. A Splat artist walks the group through it step by step and, an hour and a half later, everyone has a painting and the group has its first story. No drawing skills needed: whatever comes out is the fun of it.

At sunset on the terrace, facing the sea, or at night in the living room. It's the workshop that breaks the ice fastest when not everyone in the group knows each other, and the easiest souvenir to take home: a painting signed by the person who made it.

Included

  • A canvas and an easel per person
  • Acrylic paint and brushes
  • An artist guiding from start to finish
  • Setup and cleanup: we leave the space as we found it

The wine is on you, it's your house after all. If you'd rather we bring it, we quote it separately.

What it looks like on the day

Canvas workshops and ice bath sessions we've run, at Riviera Maya hotels and in a villa garden. Nothing here is stock.

  • Two guests hold up their just-finished beach paintings, a glass of wine on the table
  • A canvas with two turtles on a tabletop easel, the paint palette beside it and the pool behind
  • A long table of easels under the palms of a beach club, everyone painting the same sky
  • A guest in the tub with ice filling the water to the rim, and a hand on his shoulder from outside
  • Green easels set up on the sand, the group seated facing a resort pool
  • The guide, standing over the tub, holds the hands of a guest submerged in the ice water
  • Four tubs lined up on the lawn, palms behind them and towels laid out to the side

The morning after: the full ice bath experience

After the party, the group wakes up with a plan. A yoga class to wake the body, a breathwork session to get it ready, the ice bath with the coach beside the tub, and static dance to let out the energy the ice leaves behind. The whole morning, built as one experience.

For bachelorette parties we only offer it complete, on purpose: half of what the group takes home happens before and after the water. It's the experience we recommend from Splat Mind, and the part of the weekend people talk about most when they get back.

  • The whole class in downward dog on mats, under a palapa

    Sunrise yoga

Set up outside and early: garden, terrace or sand. Slow movement synced to the breath, no show-off postures and no need to have practised before. It opens the day and leaves the group ready for whatever comes next.

  • Breathwork

A whole session given over to breathing. It works through guided cycles that first ramp up and then let go: the body reaches a state it doesn't get to by sitting still and doing nothing. No experience or fitness required. It's done lying down and everyone goes at their own pace. It's the technique underneath the ice bath and the meditation, here as a practice in its own right.

  • Ice bath

An exercise in presence. First the body gets going with movement and conscious breathing, to ready the nervous system; then comes the plunge, one to two minutes, accompanied the whole time. It isn't about endurance: it's finding out the body handles more than the head was willing to allow.

  • Static dance

Organic movement, breathing and music (tribal, soft electronic or ancestral medicine music). Each person explores their own way of moving, lets tension go and reconnects with something vital. It ends in catharsis more often than you would expect.

Included

  • An outdoor yoga class, no experience needed
  • Breathwork guided by a facilitator
  • A 1 to 2 minute ice bath, accompanied by a certified coach
  • Static dance and hot tea to close
  • Three tubs for groups of 30

Everyone signs an informed consent before getting in the ice. Whoever doesn't get in still does the yoga, the breathing and the dance: nobody sits out the morning.

Before the wedding, a Mayan cleansing

Between the nerves, the family and the to-do list, walking into the wedding with a clear head doesn't happen on its own. That's what the ancestral cleansing is for: a purification ritual guided by a Mayan shaman, with copal, chanting and an invocation of the elements, to let go of what sits stagnant and step into the next chapter light.

It isn't a show for tourists: it's the ceremony as it's done, explained so the group can follow it. It happens at sunset or at night, in the villa's garden, and takes an hour. It works as the closing of the bachelorette, or as the bride's or groom's own ritual with their people a few days before the wedding.

Included

  • Invocation of the elements
  • A copal bath
  • A Mayan shaman
  • A symbolic closing

If you want to add it, say so when you ask for the quote and we line it up with the wedding date.

How the weekend comes together

Friday at sunset, Zip and Paint on the terrace. Saturday morning, the full ice bath experience in the garden. And if the wedding is close, the Mayan cleansing on Saturday at sunset, to close. The rest of the weekend is still yours.

  • Friday, sunset: Zip and Paint, 90 minutes
  • Saturday morning: yoga, breathwork, ice bath and static dance
  • Saturday, sunset: Mayan cleansing, 60 minutes
  • Only want one? Also fine. Same day works too: the ice in the morning, the workshop in the afternoon

We quote the event, not the head: one booking, one price, whether you're six or thirty. Send us the date and we'll tell you if it's open.

If you manage a villa or you're a concierge, this is for you too

Your bachelorette guests already have the yacht and the club. What almost nobody offers them is something inside the house, and it's the first thing they ask when they arrive: what are we doing tomorrow. This is the answer you can have ready.

An activity to offer with 24 hours' notice, without touching your operation: we arrive with everything, set up, run the session and leave the space as it was. One price per event and a quote back almost always the same day, so you can answer the group before the idea cools off.

That's how we've worked for over four years with hotels like Royalton CHIC, Excellence and Palladium. With villas and concierges the deal is the same.

What the house needs

  • Ice bath and yoga: a garden, a terrace or access to the beach. They happen outdoors
  • Zip and Paint: a terrace, a living room or the garden. Shade by day, or sunset
  • Mayan cleansing: the garden, at sunset or at night
  • How to get in and where to set up. The rest is on us

Safety in the ice bath

The session is led by a certified ice bath coach who stays with every plunge from start to finish. Nobody goes in alone and you can get out at any moment. Before getting in, everyone signs an informed consent that sets out what the activity is and what the risks are.

Anyone with the following should stay out of the ice:

  • Heart conditions, high blood pressure or arrhythmia
  • Asthma, COPD or any other respiratory condition
  • Pregnancy
  • Epilepsy
  • Diabetes, Raynaud’s or peripheral neuropathy, unless your doctor clears you
  • A cold, a fever, open wounds or a skin infection

This is not a medical treatment and doesn't replace one. If anyone in the group is unsure, they should check with their doctor first and tell us when we arrive: whoever sits out the ice still does the rest of the morning.

Frequently asked

How many of us do we need to be?

Six at the minimum and thirty at the most, for all three experiences. We quote the whole event, not per person.

Can we book just one of the three?

Yes. Zip and Paint alone, the full ice bath experience alone, the Mayan cleansing alone, or any combination. If you book more than one, different days work best: the workshop in the afternoon and the ice the next morning.

Can we get the ice bath alone, without the yoga and breathwork?

For bachelorette parties, no: it comes as the full morning. The yoga and the breathing are what make the ice go well, and the static dance is the part people talk about most afterwards. It's worth it whole.

Who brings the wine?

You do. It's your house and your party. If you'd rather we bring it, we quote it separately.

Is Zip and Paint a paint and sip?

Yes. Same idea: canvas, easel, a glass of wine and an artist guiding you. We call it Zip and Paint, but if you came looking for a paint and sip in Cancun for a bachelorette party, this is it.

Do we need to know how to paint?

No. The artist guides step by step and everyone ends up with a painting. Whatever comes out is part of the fun.

What is the Mayan cleansing and when does it happen?

A purification ritual guided by a Mayan shaman, with copal, chanting and an invocation of the elements. It takes an hour, at sunset or at night, in the villa's garden. It works as the closing of the bachelorette or a few days before the wedding. Ask for it when you request the quote.

Do you come to Tulum and Playa del Carmen?

Yes. We cover Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos and Tulum. Tell us where the villa is when you ask for the quote.

How far in advance do we need to book?

From 24 hours, subject to availability. If the date is close, message us on WhatsApp and we'll tell you right away if it's open.

What does the villa need to have?

For the ice bath and the yoga, an outdoor space: garden, terrace or the beach out front. For Zip and Paint, a terrace, a living room or the garden. We bring the easels, canvases, paint, mats, tubs and ice.

What if someone doesn't want to get in the ice?

They stay in the morning anyway: they do the yoga, the breathing and the static dance, and watch the ice from outside. Nobody has to get in and nobody keeps score.

Does this work for a bachelor party too?

Yes. All three experiences work the same for a group of guys, a group of girls or a mixed party.

Do you do the night out as well?

No. We do the afternoon, the morning and, if you want it, the ceremony. Cancun has the night covered.

What if we're staying at a hotel or a resort instead of a villa?

That works. It's where we've done most of these. Tell us which hotel and we coordinate with them.
